On October 4, Grupo Aleatur -the business group that Esalrod belongs to- celebrated its 50th anniversary in a commemorative event that took place at its headquarters in Asturias, Spain.
The event was attended by prominent personalities from the business and institutional sphere, including the presence of the President of the Principality of Asturias, Adrián Barbón. Also present were the vice president of the Principality, Gimena Llamedo; the Minister of Science, Business, Training and Employment, Borja Sánchez; the Minister of Ecological Transition, Industry and Economic Development, Nieves Roqueñí; the Deputy Minister of Industry and Just Transition, Isaac Pola; the general director of Energy and Mining, Belarmina Díaz, the mayor of Gozón, Jorge Suárez, the mayor of Avilés, Mariví Monteserín, the councilor for Urban and Economic Development, Manuel Campa, and the councilor for Training and Employment, Juan Carlos Guerrero, in addition to other mayors and representatives of municipal corporations and business associations, the three chambers of Commerce of Asturias.
The day was an occasion to pay tribute to the history and achievements of the Aleastur Group, a company that, since its founding in 1974, has managed to maintain an upward trajectory based on values of effort, humility and a constant commitment to quality and excellence. Among these milestones, Esalrod was of outstanding importance.
Institutional visit to CINNO.
An institutional visit was made to the group's new innovation center.
The visit was led by Julián Ruiz, Director of CINNO and Marta Suárez, R&D Manager. Adrián Barbón, president of the Principality of Asturias, highlighted the successful trajectory of our group, considering that innovation explains the very strong resilience of the Avilés region, with growing expectations of industrial development. During the visit, our guests had the opportunity to learn about the new facilities and artificial vision/AI projects as well as the spaces where R&D activities are carried out. Aleastur Group's investment in research and development has been key to adapting to the demands of the global market and remaining at the forefront of the metallurgical industry.
